Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Punta Cana Project website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using PCP, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.


1. About Punta Cana Project

Punta Cana Project (“PCP”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides a community platform that helps residents, expats, and visitors in Punta Cana connect with businesses, services, discounts, and events. PCP acts as a facilitator, not the provider, of third-party services or products.


2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

  • By using PCP, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
     

3. Accounts & Membership

  • To access certain features (e.g., discounts, digital ID, events), you must create an account.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

  • Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred.

  • PCP reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
     

4. Discounts, Offers & QR Codes

  • PCP provides access to discounts and promotions via unique QR codes.

  • Each QR code is for single-use only and must be used in accordance with the offer conditions.

  • Businesses may verify redemption details before honoring the discount.

  • PCP is not responsible if a business fails to honor a discount, modifies an offer, or declines service.


5. Events & Community Activities

  • PCP organizes or promotes social events and experiences.

  • Attendance is voluntary and at your own risk.

  • PCP is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from attending an event or activity.

  • Refunds for ticketed events are subject to the event-specific refund policy.


6. Payments & Fees

  • Some features of PCP (such as business memberships or event tickets) may require payment.

  • All payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers.

  • PCP is not responsible for payment issues arising from your bank or payment provider.


7. Partner Businesses & Third Parties

  • PCP partners with local businesses to offer deals, events, and services.

  • PCP is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of third-party goods or services.

  • Any disputes regarding a purchase or service must be resolved directly with the business.


8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse QR codes, promotions, or membership benefits.

  • Share false, misleading, or harmful information through PCP.

  • Use PCP for unlawful purposes.

  • Attempt to disrupt or hack the platform.


9. Intellectual Property

  • All content, logos, graphics, and materials in PCP are owned by us or licensed to us.

  • You may not copy, distribute, or modify PCP content without our written permission.


10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using PCP at any time by closing your account.


11. Liability Disclaimer

  • PCP provides the platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

  • PCP is not liable for losses, damages, or claims arising from your use of PCP or reliance on third-party businesses.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect once posted in the app or on our website. Continued use of PCP means you accept the updated Terms.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of La Altagracia Province.
